What’s in the bottle

Not a lemonade. Not a fridge kombucha. A tea aged like wine.

ACALA was born in the hands of a wine man: its co-founder spent twenty years working with champagne in London and judging it at Decanter. When his wife was expecting and there was nothing left to pour into her glass at the table, he went looking for a drink that was neither a sweet compromise nor a children’s fizzy pop. He found it in tea.

Druskininkai spring water

Organic tea brewed over a live fire — not in an industrial kettle.

Fermentation in oak barrels

Oak, stainless steel and glass — three different vessels, three different characters.

The blend

Aged fermented teas are blended with fresh teas, flowers and spices — the way a winemaker blends vintages.

Cellar ageing

Once bottled, the tea rests in the cellar. The whole journey to your glass takes more than half a year.

Taste and ritual

Dry, mineral, with a hint of elderflower.

A white-wine-style tea: green and hemp tea, notes of almond and elderflower, a dry finish that leaves no sweetness behind. It belongs in a wine glass not for fashion’s sake — that is simply where it opens up best.

8–10 °C
Chill it like a white wine. Not ice-cold — cold masks the aroma.
Slowly
Open without hurry — the bubbles are alive, as in champagne.
Wine glass
A white-wine or champagne glass. 330 ml — two full glasses.

At the table: grilled fish, cream soups, Camembert, chicken with herbs. Without a table: instead of prosecco, when tomorrow starts early.

Why the palace is on the label
The Tyszkiewicz family raised their glasses in these halls for a hundred years. We are restoring the rooms where it happened — and we wanted a drink we could put on that same table without reservations.

ACALA is Lithuanian — born in Kaunas, brewed with Druskininkai spring water. The Lentvaris Manor edition, with the palace silhouette on the label, is bottled in small batches and sold only here, directly from the manor. When a batch sells out we order the next one — so sometimes there is a short wait.

Who it’s for

Three situations where a bottle on the table solves the problem.

A party where half the guests are driving
One glass for everyone — those who drive, those who are expecting, and those who simply don’t want to. Nobody asks “why aren’t you drinking?”.
A gift for someone who “doesn’t want anything”
Not wine, not chocolates. A bottle with the manor they passed on the road to Trakai, and a story to tell at the table.
A Tuesday evening
When you want something more festive than water, but Wednesday is a working day. Two glasses, no consequences.

Questions people ask before buying

Short and honest.

Is it kombucha?

Essentially yes — a fermented tea. The difference is what happens next: ACALA is aged in oak barrels and in the cellar for more than half a year, so it tastes dry and wine-like rather than sour and vinegary like ordinary kombucha.

How much sugar?

Not much. ACALA’s white-wine-style tea has about 2 g of sugar and 8 kcal per 100 ml. For comparison, lemonade or tonic usually has 8–10 g. No sweetness lingers — which is why it works with food.

Really 0.0%?

Yes. Non-alcoholic, certified organic, vegan, no artificial additives. Suitable for drivers, mums-to-be and children at the festive table.

How to store it and how long does it keep?

Unopened — between +2 and +24 °C, out of the sun. Opened — in the fridge for up to 3 days. A little natural sediment at the bottom is a sign of fermentation, not of a fault.

How do I collect it or get it delivered?

At the manor, Klevų al. 48, Lentvaris — 30 minutes from Vilnius, free; after payment you’ll get an email when the order is ready. Or delivery to an LP Express parcel locker — cases ship to lockers only, not by courier to your door. In the cart choose “Delivery” and enter the locker address.

Can I buy a single bottle?

Online — cases only: 12 × 330 ml or 6 × 750 ml. Single bottles are available at the manor after a tour.

Can I give it as a gift?

That’s what it’s made for. Put your own details on the order and tell us at pickup that it’s a gift — we’ll wrap it in paper with the manor’s mark.
